I admit that when women adorn and make up themselves, it is not the same thing as lying; it is closer to it, though, than disguising oneself at a masked ball, where people never present themselves as they are, but still only think about hiding themselves and making their true selves forgotten: it is a desire to impress peoples eyes, and to seem like something on the outside that is different from the truth; it is a type of fib.
It's necessary to judge women from just above their shoes to just below their coiffure exclusively, a little like one measures a fish from below its head to above its tail.
